I've got an '84 ram 50 4x4 w/ manual trans. and the engine is pretty much shot, I'm looking to upgrade to something with a little more horse power and was thinking about a 3.6l V-6, but I don't know what engines to start looking at as a good swap for it to make it the simplest. Can I get some info on it so I can get started.

 

I know dodge put a 3.9 liter v6 in the fullsize rams and dakotas. Is that what you meant? I don't think you are going to have anything simple. In effect, your truck is a Mitsubishi, so I don't think much on the 3.9 would just line up and drop in.
