Default factory roller camshafts

I went and bought a new timing chain set for my truck yesterday (85 with a 360 4bbl) apparently the edelbrock timing chain will fit all 360's and i think 318's up till 1990 except if it has the factory oem roller camshaft. Anyone know what had roller cams before 90? I thought all the engines were normal until the magnum came out which was in like 93 or 4 or something did the magnums come out before then?

I assumed my engine don't have a roller cam and this part would fit.

They started with the roller cams earlier than 1990 - my 1988 318 and my 89 360 both had them. I do not however know the exact year they came out. I know people have said they cam out earlier but don't know when.

Roller cams 87 or possibly 86 for cars and 88 for trucks as far I know.
That is with the 318 & 360.
