Question 1997 Ram 5.9

Misses and bucks when driving with light throttle.

Starts immediatly and idles smooth. Accelerates smoothly with no hesitation.

Have changed plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor.

Checked for vacuum leaks.

Was running good before this started so have not touched timing.

Any ideas where to look next?

You're in the wrong section, but I bounce back and forth.

It wouldn't happen to behave this way between 40-55 mph, would it?

If so, that indicates an OD misfire.

thanks where should I be posting this?

It seems to do this at any speed but always with a light throttle. Not when accelerating or idling.

It should be in the 2nd gen Ram section.

PM Moderator Jasonw and just ask him to move it.

I still say it sounds like a misfire. TSB 18-48-98 from Dodge covers plug wire routing in the engine bay to limit wire "crossfire" causing the symptom which you are describing.
