I have a 1985 Dodge d150 with an 8.25 that im wanting to upgrade to a 9.25 if at all possible any advice experience with rear ends and knowledge would be awesome. Any other ideas on upgrading it or rebuilding as mine Is going out would also help I plan on puttin alot of highway miles on it.

 

9.25 is not really an upgrade, especially stock.

If you went with a 9.25 you would want to rebuild it and replace the crush sleeve with the spacer
