Default Misfire through manifold

Hey y'all,
Tried starting my engine today, wouldn't go wouldn't go. Gave it a little starting fluid and POOF a flame comes out of the intake. Friend told me I have my dizzy put in 180* wrong. So should I just flip the rotor around 180*? I think I got it set 180* around by accident. Engine is fine, I got the fire out right away, only thing that is damaged is some hair on my arm and the Air filter...

When I replaced the wires on my 76 they were 180* off, glad it didn't backfire on me.

You could have switched the wires 180 degrees & it would have been OK.
Sure would screw it up for the next person that worked on it!
