im wanting to switch heads on my 83, it is factory with 4bbl setup, ive been around the 302 swirl port heads, and they are a nice step up, i found a set with a 2 bbl setup, my question is do they make a 4 bbl version of the 302 heads or would that just be the 308 used on 360s, and how well would the 2bbl 302 No. heads work with the 4bbl carb and intake cause i know on older model heads they have smaller ports for 2bbl and bigger for 4 bbl i know it wont flow as great but since its closed chamber swirl port heads it should make it better reguardless , or weather i should find a set of 308 swirlports, ive never checked the casting number on my 83s head but ill bet it is the 596 360 heads, all the information i have says that dodge put 360 heads on the 318 when equipped with a 4 bbl setup for the pre 85 pickups, any additional information on heads used on dodges 81-93 i would like as well, thanks
