Brake Lines
My father bought an 89 Dodge Ram. The guy that we bought it off did a real job on the brake lines, and they just don't seem hooked up right. Especially with all the joiners.
It looks like (but far from it in reality) theres a splitter (v-shaped) screwed in to the front port of the master cylinder that should run to the two front wheels and it looks like there should be a single line that runs out of the rear of the master cylinder and connect to a junction box screwed on the left side of brake booster and there's two ports on that that should run to each back line.
At the moment there's a front line screwed into the one that looks like it the junction box for the back, and one the ports on the front v thing is connected to the junction box. It's all a mess.
Also there's one flex line in the front that runs down to the chassis and theres a hard line that run down to around the same spot (looks like it's for the back lines), and there's only one flex line for the back. Something I can't figure out at all. There should be two flex lines in the back or one line running back to a junction box.
Does anyone have a diagram or can give me an outline of how their brakes are setup.

Might try some pics and post them. Maybe this guy was pulling a trailer? If he pulled a trailer than he had to tee off the master cylinder to run a hard line to the brake controller under the dash. Is this 2WD or 4WD?
Both hard lines from the Master cylinder should run to the valve on the left frame. Then there should be one hard line that runs to the front brakes and one hard line that runs to the rear brakes from the valve on the frame. At the rear axle the hard line will will stop and a flex line will be connected to it of which the other end will be mounted to the top of the axle. There will be 2 ports on this flex line that allow one hard line to go to the left and one hard line to go to the right.
The front axle will be set up different depending on wether it's 2WD or 4WD.
On 2WD the hard line from the valve will go to a tee on the front axle, then one hard line runs to the left and one to the right. These 2 hard lines will stop at a bracket on each side and then a flex line is connectrd to each caliper unit.
On 4WD, the hard line from the valve stops just above the front axle in a bracket and a flex line attaches to this and the other end is mounted on top the axle. This other end will have 2 ports that a left and right hard line can connect to and then it's the same as 2WD.

I've put up some pics of out ram to show you what I see here. This is what we have
circle No.1 is some type of v splitter coming off the master cylinder, number 2 runs to left front brake line.
Circle No. 3 is some type of distribution block, with one running to the front right and one running down to the back.
Circle No.4 is located in the front left wheel well.
I cannot find a proportioning valve nowhere, but it looks like that's what No.4 is for to hook up to that
Any idea's
