Default Right turn signal issue

I have a 1990 d100 swb and the left turn signal works great. The Right turn signal will signal about 30sec and then Flicker or just not flash anymore at all. Has anyone experienced this issue?

If its staying solid, and not flashing, the flasher relay may be sticking, and needs replaced. Sometimes when this happens, you can smack the fuse box, and "wake up" the turn signal again until your next turn.

I am going to bet it is the switch. I think they are about 50 bucks and easy to swap out if it is the one that unplugs on the steering column like my 1991 has.

NAPA has them for 65 dollars. Mine needs to be replaced too because it blows the wiper fuse if I put it on high.

At least on my 86 the flasher doesn't know if you're turning right or left. It's a two pin relay and the "decision" to flash either way is done in the switch in the column.

I was experiencing issues with a turn indicator being erratic and it was fixed by cleaning all ground points and sockets/pins including the turn indicator bulbs in the dash.
