Default need some sugestions

hi im new to the forum and currently own a 84 dodge d100 it has a turbo emblem on each fender, not sure if some one just stuck them on or something. it has a 318 with automatic 3 speed

alright well i wana take this truck to the burnout competitions and have some fun with it but when i do a burnout a shift it manually from first to second it hits about 3500 rpm then starts bogging and i have to downshift back into 1st it has the 2 barrel carb and all stock besides true duals from manifolds back to 5inch stacks she has no mufflers or cats i like the look of stacks but wana have duals that end right before the rear end i dont want it to be to loud but i wana have a nice rumble and little to no crackle when u rev it up its just a beater truck that wont quit runing ive jumped it and tryed hillclimbing it so dont realy wana put to much into it and if u know why it bogs on me let me know im thinkin its from no back presure would 2 30'' cherrybombs fix that? im gonna have a pull off with a 70s ford with a biult 302 so i wana fix that boging problem asap (i dislike fords very much) so let me know wat u r thinking and if there is anything i could do to get more power with out emptying the wallet thanks

Nor will a stock 318 with sewer pipe exhaust like to burnout in 2nd. Glasspacks will certainly give you some back pressure. In some cases, too much, but stock you should be ok. 30" will probably be on the quiet side for you. I'm running dual 8" long ones now. The cat kills most of my exhaust sound.
