Default 1991 Dodge ram PU250

Hey,

I have a 91 dodge ram that needs the steering fixed. Takes about a quarter turn or so for it to respond. Any ideas on whats wrong and how to fix it.. All help is greatly apprecated. Thank you

Probably the slip joint and/or the rag joint in the column are bad. You can do a factory replacement on the slip joint, or get an upgraded borgeson unit.

Have somebody turn the wheel while you watch the column. Chances are its the slip joint. Search "steering coupler" to find it. The rebuild kit is like $15, and the borgeson shaft is $150. Apparently the borgeson shaft is an excellent option.
