Default Charge Temp Sensor 85 d100 straight 6

So I bought a 85 d100 someone was screwin around with all the vacuum lines. Replaced and reconnected most of it but I have come across what i think is the charge temp sensor its been melted and its just hanging from the terminal ground and the main terminal line gonna get a new sensor but where in the hell does it screw into?

My Haynes Manual says "located on the intake manifold, near the carb" For the life of me I can not find the hole to put it in.

Photobucket link below for all the pics if you want more please ask please help
