Default 87 Starts/Stalls

I have an 87 W150 with the 318 2BBL engine. I can get it to start easy but then it will stall out sometimes if you feather the gas you can keep it going longer but it won't idle on its own. I have replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter and oil/filter. When I can get it to stay running there does seem to be a little bit of a miss.

Once you get to the point where it will stay running mostly I can drive it around alright. It was running alright yesterday after it was running, it idled pretty good after changing the fuel filter. But this morning its back to repeated stalling out.

Is there anything common to look for that could be the culprit?

Sounds like the choke either isn't working or is out of adjustment.

+1 On the choke. Make sure its closing when the engine is cold.

Thanks for the tip! It was stuck in the open position, I broke it loose and it appears to be working now. It does have a bit of a miss at idle and if you stop on the gas in drive it stalls.
