Default Instrument cluster lights issues

i recently have had what i had thought was a bulb that went out in the instrument cluster for the fuel gauge so i went and bought all new bulbs for the instrument cluster and put them in and the one for the fuel gauge still wont work and i have no clue. Are the boards in the clusters known for going bad? 1993 d250 w/magnum 360

check the routing on the back on the board to see if you can see if there are any breaks in the strands also check inside the plug for corrosion also on the bulb socket itself. mine had a break in the ground strand so I soldered it and they work now. not to mention blindingly bright!

what light bulb sockets do you have? some light bulb sockets have there light bulb wires soldered to the side of the socket. if you have those sockets you have 2 options. solder the light bulb wires to the side like stock or replace the sockets with the other type that don't have the wires soldered to the side.
