Default squeeky steering

My 88 d100 steeering wheel is starting to squeek as I turn it. Does anyone have any ideas what could beccausing it?

Is it cold in Virginia right now? Mine squeaks when it's cold, and I'm fairly certain it is a grommet or bushing just getting a little tighter in the winter.

Thanks for the info. Thing is...it squeeks all the year. Maybe I should just dismantle and seek to repair bushings as you mentioned and see if that does the trick.
