Default Does my ignition key have chip?

My 92 D150 pickup only has 1 ignition key. It has a plastic triangle top. Is there a chip in there which will complicate getting a 2nd key or is it just a key. Also, it does not open either door. Did this truck come with 2 keys one for the lock and another for the ignition?
Thanks

No, it doesn't have a chip, and it sounds like someone has re-keyed either the ignition (most likely) or the doors. It's unlikely that both locks would go bad, why I suspect the re-key, but it is possible...it is an old truck. However, from the factory, the doors and the ignition should be keyed the same.
