Find an entire donor diesel truck to swap all the parts it the best way.

Go over to http://ramchargercentral.com/diesel-talk/ and it has been discussed and done many times.

The 6bt, since the 4bt never came in pickups.

Over on Ramcharger Central there are a couple people that also did 4BT's. It is nearly the same and you will need all the same parts for both the 4BT and 6BT.
