rear driveshft
I'm trying to return my 92 ram 150 short bed to stock. I'm currently running dana 60/70 and 4.88 gears and 8 in lift. I've already acquired complete stock 150 axles (drag link brakes etc.) stock leaf springs and wheels but I hit a major set back when i started looking for a drive shaft. since i have a 92 with OD I'm having trouble finding an interchangeable rear drive shaft. My question is am i stuck looking for a drive shaft for a 92-93 or will an older first gen shaft work.
any help would be appreciated. I know i can have a shaft built but being on a budget and trying to reduce the down time on my DD this is a last resort.

Are you seriously about to change out those 3/4 tons for 1/2 tons?? I hate bringing down ideas in people's thread but there is no good reason to do that, even if you want higher gears.
You could just take it to a driveshaft shop and have it re-done. When I swapped to 3/4 ton axles thats what I did

Wow. Should've just bought a daily driver and kept your built truck.
What a waste of time and money. Imo.
Just buy a driveshaft that would fit but is too long. Take it to a driveline shop and have it shortened. That way it won't cost you parts. Just time.
Easy and cheap and done.

Well I know the axles I have are worth their weigh in gold lol but to change the gears would have cost more than I want to spend. I really considered a buying a dd truck but can't afford a new truck and refuse to pay the overinflated price for a reliable used truck capable of pulling my 14 enclosed trailer. I bought the truck with the axles I have under it now ($1200 truck) so I don't feel bad letting them go and the price of half ton axles was half of what it would cost to change the gears from 4.88 so that's the only reason I went that route. I guess I'll get a shaft built and carry on. Lol. thanks for the input guys
