Default Coolant leaks

I had the engine rebuilt a few months ago and over a last few weeks I have had to replace two heater hoses and the bypass hose because they should have been replaced but weren't due to old age and splits. Now I have noticed that there are small pools of coolant on top of the engine about once a week and it is comming from around the thermostat. Everything is tight and clamps are good. Anyone have any thoughts as to what is causing the leaks?
Thanks,
Bruce.

If it is the t-stat the gasket maybe missing or the sealant was not used

Default Rust on the hose connections

Sometimes the steel fittings rust and hoses will not seal around them. You can sand them clean with emory cloth or replace them with new. I think they are available aftermarket.

A friend suggested that the bolts holding the thermostst housing might go into the water jacket and are not sealed. I will check them tomorrow.

The mopar small blocks are notorius for leeking around the Tstat housing.
Double the gasket and do not over tighten. The bolts do not go into the water jacket
