Default Cosmetic on my D150

so i have a few quick Questions about some of the things i wanna do this weekend.

question one: so i bought an old electric horn the kind that go on the outside, i wanna wire it to a button on the inside of the cab and mount the horn on the top of the cab. but How do i mount the horn to the cab without letting in water from rain, and what type of button and wiring do i need to do so without draining the battery or damaging the electrical components?

Question two: i also would like to bolt in a console i bought and then cut to fit but im a little nervous about drilling into the floor for the bolt cause i dont want to put a hole in something that shouldn't be drilled into under the cab, any advice on that would be very appropriated as i love my truck and dont want to kill it.

and Question three ( the one most appropriate for the section of the forum ) :
my fuel economy is killing me. i changed the sparks, that helped some but id like to get the best gas mileage out of my 318, is there any advice i can get on recommended upgrades and part replacements that could improve my fuel eco and maybe help my truck go another couple thousand miles at the same time??

Thanks in advance 91 Dodge D150 with 318 and a auto trans if it helps

For fuel mileage and basic upkeep: new timing chain and gears, will definitely help and range anywehres from $25-$85. Basic upkeep, change your air filter and put quality air intake(breather) on (put a quality one on) I suggest K&N FIPK air intake system. Service your tranny, If it is carb switch over to fuel injected or Put a 2 bbl on it or block off the secondaries on the 4 bbl. This will sacrifice a little power, but likely save 1-2 mpg or more, depending how much lead resides in your right foot. Synthetic fluids everywhere. Engine oil, trans, diffs. Remove all the weight you can. If you drive on "good" roads this includes the jack and spare tire. That alone is easily 50 lbs.

Question 1 - do not drill holes in your roof. These trucks have enough problems with the roof rusting out. I know its your truck but mount the horn under the hood and not cause yourself problems with potential leaks.

Question 2 - You have little to worry about drilling into the floor in the center of the cab but slip under the truck and look to be certain.

Question 3 - There is really very little you can do and nothing that can be done to get any "drastic" fuel economy changes. Keep it tuned up, tires properly inflated, etc. One thing you could do is install a vacuum gauge and learn to drive it while maintaining the highest possible vacuum readings. I do this and have gained about 1/2 mpg...when you only get 10 mpg I figure an extra .5 mpg is something

If you wanted to you could remove the clutch fan and install an electric fan to take the extra drag of the engine. This might net you another .5 - 1 mpg.

It should be throttle body or fuel injection
