1991 D250 conversion from gas to diesel

I just bought a 1991 D250 4x4 with a 5.9L gas engine automatic tranny. What I want to do is try to put a new 5.9L or 6.7L cummins with a standard tranny and swap out the rear axle for a heavy duty dually axle. So I guess my question is would a 5.9L or 6.7L fit my engine compartment?
