Mopar Performance Valve Covers from Summit Racing
has anyone bought these valve covers for the 318 LA http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dc...iew/make/dodge
Someone bought them for me as a gift and there is no spot for the EGR valve or the PCV valve(?)
If you have them did you delete the systems entirely? or fabricate a spot on the covers for them? I have already deleted the air pump and most of the emissions system. Headers are going in and will delete the cats (of course).

years ago i did build on 360. with M / T alum covers. i drilled holes and opened them up with a rotary file. on the hole for the PVC i made a plate under the hole 1-2 down. with some stainless steel Kitchen scrubbers as a oil catcher. and used O.E.M. rubber gaskets. ALL WAYS try to use chrysler O.E.M. parts. remember cast alum works different than other metals. it will grab drills, and flake out. it has a very course grain.
it says in the add there is punch outs in the valve covers for those, u will need to get the right grommets probably but any parts store can sell you those, if there is none and u only have 1 hole in each cover use the right grommet and run the egr from one side and use a breather for the pcv on the other side, u again will need the proper grommet or grommets, to add oil just pop out the breather. the engine needs both
ya... what he says... i get all confused with egr's and pcv's anyways the one that goes to the carb has a hose and the other ones a breather, at least thats how i got it done on my old dodge valve covers that only have 1 hole in each side
