Default 82 d150 magnum 360 w/ 46re swap

Hey guys I'm about to yank a 5.9 with a 46re out of my 2000 durango. It is a 100% complete donor. I'm swapping fuel tank with pump and all. My issues are cleaning up the harness and making it a stand alone system with what I have to work with. What can I ditch from.the system.and what do I have to keep. Things like the evap system and lights are not needed for the truck but not sure what the ecm needs. No emissions are needed either. Thank you

All the gauges work from the pcm so you will need them in the 82. Also the speed is detected from a sensor on the rear axle, Not sure if this will swap in the 82 with out mods. You will be using most of the wiring from the engine, trans and pcm. Need to figure out how to implement it in the 82.

From what I hear the the speed sensor for that is in the transmission and the one in the rear is for abs system. I'm not worried about the gauges too much. I'm running all after market gauges except the speedo for now. Mine doesn't work anyways lol. I just want take it run correctly and have the obd2 port functional.

You need speed input to the pcm for correct shifts, Without it the pcm has no idea how fast it's going. The speed sensor was moved from the back of the trans to the rear about 98 or 99 i believe. It was combined with the abs sensor.
