need a big heavy duty winch bumper for a 83 W350 in so cal. can anyone help me out here? so far i have only found one company and they charge WAY too much. $1300 for a bumper and an additional $800 for the optional grill guard. since i only paid $1000 for the truck that obviouslyt is not even considered.

please any help on a place that has big heavy duty front/rear bumpers for us classic truck guys or a fabricator that can make one for a fair price. i am in so cal and obviously would be better if ti si near me due to weight and if custom, the truck is here too.

have you searched ebay? anyways, i bought my bumper for my ride at partstrain.com, i got it at a reasonable price. you might want to give it a try, you might find one.

 

maybe you misunderstood. A BIG HEAVY DUTY WINCH BUMPER......not a crappy steel factory junk.

chyeck out this bumper, this is what i am looking for, i just think they are WAY over priced. I paid $800 for my land rover winch bumper, i am not about even come close to paying $2100 for a bumper for my dodge. that is a total ripoff. unless it came with the winch ( it doesn't)

 

Why dont you just make your own? My truck has a bumper made of 1/4" steel on the front of it, the guy that owned it before me made it to have a winch mounted inside of it, but he took thw winch out before i bought the truck and i havent bought a new one yet.

 

i design rockets. i am not a welder. but if i was a welder i would make bumpers for trucks and get rich. these guys charge a fortune for these things.
