First off the electrical problems in my vehical do not affect the engine. They affect things like the wipers/power windows and power locks. The previous owner of my 81 pretty much butchered the wiring harness for my truck, is there any way i can get a whole new harness for my truck and if the answer is yes where can i get one from. (would a dodge dealership be able to order one)

And a question about my 318. Im young 20 yearsold, I know from word of mouth that a 2bbl carb is pretty restrictive, this truck being my first vehical i do not want to go crazy on the engine but i do want a bit more power. So far i have straight pipes, what i want to get is a new 4bbl carb and a new intake manifold as well as a pair of headers. I dont want to spend more then 600$US on the carb and intake. For the headers i do not want to spend anymore then 300$US. Can someone please recommend a nice setup for my engine that im planning on keeping stock besides these upgrades.

If you can be very specific about the carb and its cfm rating that would be very helpful. thanks a lot.
