Hey, first time posting, just found this part in the engine bay not attached to anything and don't know what it is

 

That's an old emissions diverter valve. It was fed fresh air by the smog pump. A vacuum solenoid would open it and blow fresh air into the exhaust manifold.


I think........... I started in 1992 and it's all foggy now
