Default 85 W150 Bypass Hose Replacement

Greetings,
My mechanical knowledge is very limited but, I can generally watch a how to video and figure it out. Though, i have not been able to find a guide or video for my issue on my truck (or similar enough truck).
My truck recently stared overheating and upon inspection I found a leak at my bypass hose. I've got the part incoming and need to know if there is anything extra I need to do to replace the hose.
I expect I will need to drain the coolant and, of course, disconnect the battery for safeties sake. The hose itself is very easy to get to but, do I need to remove anything else or get any other items, short of the hose and clamps?
This work is being done on a 1985 Dodge W150, with the 318.
