84 has power to starter relay but does not have power to coil or ballast resistor. Truck will crank but will not start due to the fact that there is no power to the coil. If I hook a wire from the battery to the coil it will start and stay running. When my key is in the "on" position I do not have any power. My question would be what supplies the power to the ignition switch? second question would be that when the key is in the "on" position should I have voltage from the relay going to the ballast resistor?
