amc 360 swap for 318

Default amc 360 swap for 318

i have a 1990 dodge pick up a friend built a 360 amc motor for a project and now going another way he'll sell me the amc 360 for 350 bucks is it an easy swap or do i have to rearrange everything under the hood?

you may want to do a bit more research but i am pretty sure the amc 360 has absolutely nothing in common with a dodge 360 other than just the displacement. you would likely need a amc transmission and everything to make it work

I had a Grand Wagoneer for 8 years. Crazzywolfie is correct , there is nothing Mopar about the AMC 360. Even the bellhousing for the 727 the AMC motor uses is not the same as Dodge. As much as I enjoyed my Wagoneer , I would not go through the headache of shoehorning an AMC motor in anything that didn't call for it in the first place.
