Default Ignition and Dash lights Aren’t Working

I have a 1993 W250 with the 5.9L diesel that I am fixing up and I am having some more recent issues among the many others it came with.
So as the title says my ignition and dash lights aren’t working. The gauges aren’t for the most part either but I think they mostly have their own issues. I watched the guy I bought it from jump it across the starter once, but it has turned over every other time I’ve driven it. I did replace the starter because the gear was chipped and the metal housing for it was cracked. That did not fix the problem, obviously. I also checked the battery and it seems to be holding is charge just fine. So I was wondering what it could be? The battery terminal connectors? The ignition switch? Some fuse in the engine bay (I checked all the ones in the dash)? Anything you guys could tell me would help a lot!

it will flex just slightly then fall back to nothing. And all the dash lights except the oil light (albeit dimly) won’t come on.

if the voltage gauge is going to nothing then the gauges are getting no power which would cause the gauges and lights not to function properly. best to check check what the voltage is at the fuse panel with the key in the run position. it is possible that you might have a failing ignition switch or failing fusible link.
