I have a 1991 Dodge w150 with a 318 and a 3 speed w/ over drive. I believe it’s a 46rh but I’m not sure. Anyway the tranny took a crap on me and I would like to find and install a manual transmission. Can anyone tell me what model I should look for that would match up ok? My truck is lifted 4 inches and I have a custom length driveline. Will this transmission have similar length to the 3pd I have now? Also, any tips from someone who’s done this conversion before would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.
