So I have my door panels off and it is so hard to bolt the handles back on. the lever is so far back in the door I need 7 hands to pull it out and put the bolt in at the same time, is there an easier way to put this inner handle back on that I am just missing? thanks.

 

grab the piece that sticks out 90* from the door with pliers and pull all the way out like opening the door and than slide a flat screwdriver between the back of it and panel. then you can put the handle back on easily. done it many times
