Hello there,

yesterday the whole headlight came of my truck while driving and I just realized when I was 300km away.
I am driving a Dodge W250 1991 but my headlights are round. The previous owner must have done some conversion.
So I got a new headlight of NAPA for like 25$ and a retaining ring but I cant assembly the headlight without the bucket.
I checked online and car wrecking places but they told me the last Dodge with round headlights was 1980...

Did anyone ever had the same problem? is there a DIY kinda fix if I cant get the right part?
Because I am travelling and living on the road in that thing I got limited tools and budget.

they haven't used round headlights since the 70's. i would say if you want to keep them you are going to have to get another bucket out of something and modify things better than the previous person has. obviously the person who did the swap must have not done it right or remotely right if the headlight fell out while driving.
