Default Frame Rail Splash Sheilds and Headers ??

Hi Guys

Just got some rubber parts in my shopping cart such as new frame rail splash shields, heater box gasket set etc.

But it just occurred to me the splash sheilds might not get along with the new hooker headers.

Is there a chance the headers might just melt through my nice new splash sheilds.

Its hard to tell right now as the engine is out

Thanks in advance

Shouldn't bother there is more room there than you think. I got hedman headers, no splash Shields yet. Actually took the one out to do my engine swap. If your worried you can trim them, but they shouldn't bother. Unless your running a big block, I can't comment then. I can get pics this weekend if you like, I'll be working on it. Just to give you a little visual aid.

should be fine. they stop at the frame so shouldn't come in contact with the header unless the header hits the frame. sounds like your going all out on this truck. i don't have any splash shields on my 81. don't know if it really makes much of a difference and i like hitting puddles when i can.
