Default Tips on removing power steering pump from reservoir

Have the 2 bolts on the back off and the nut where the output line connects to off. Cleaned all the rust on the seam where the pump meets the reservoir. Soaked the seam with thin oil a few times. Put longer bolts in the back and tried pounding the pump out of the reservoir. Hasn't moved.

Any tricks for getting this apart?

you need to remove the fitting that the high pressure line hooks to to remove the reservoir.

I had that off. I got it. had to put the shaft in a vice and use a rubber mallet on the reservoir.
