Default d150 3.9 v6

i have a 90 d150 with the 3.9 v6 and it dies on me sometimes. i drive a while and its fine then its only when i take off then it dies. i know when it does this its not getting fuel the fuel pump does not run and then i can wait a while and itll go again im thinking its a loose wire. if you have had this problem and know where it happend or what is going on i could use the help. thank you

Pump could on it's way out.

Swap the fuel pump relay with the a/c relay. If the problem goes away, get a new relay and put the a/c back and the new one in the fuel pump relay position. If it doesn't make any difference, your pump may be going out.

could also possibly be the hall effects sensor in the distributor.
