Default AC wiring - 87 D250

87 D250, Slant 6, auto, AC

I have a wire hanging in my new to me D250. It is hanging down near the radiator core support under the alternator (pass side). it is a blue wire with an orange stripe and a female plastic connector. I could not find an example via a web search.

From where it terminates and is hanging, it loops back up behind the alternator and joins a taped bundle with two other wires. These two wires loop up to the AC compressor. All three wires go back to the firewall, and then thread down to the AC evaporator High Pressure switch. Does this wire plug into another switch on the radiator or condenser somewhere that I cannot see?

If someone can take a look at their setup and let me know, I'd appreciate it. I'm thinking all should be similar for V8 AC wiring... Thanks

The AC system has two switches, One is a low pressure and the other is a high pressure. Best bet is to find a wiring diagram. And how come you have a vette and a GTX and you are driving a slant 6 truck?
