Ok so I’ve had this question for a while I have a 360 magnum out of a 2000 Dodge Durango maybe 2001. And I’m trying to do and engine swap into my 92 d150, my d150 is a tbi and the engine I have is a dfi.

My question is

Are the intakes from both the engines interchangeable?

will I have to get a new computer to work with the bigger engine going into it?

Would it be worth to go for a carburetor setup and get a new fuel cell rather then worry about the new computer?

Thank you that actually clears most of my questions up, but would I be able to use the computer in my 92 d150 w/ 318 or would I have to get a new computer to work with the 360?

 

Keep in mind the 318 and 360 engines are balanced differently. Plus, on the later engines, they changed how the 360 was balanced.

 

The distributor/pick up is different. You could use the old computer but you should get one for the 360 or do a carb swap.
