I bought an 87 and was told the control arm snapped, but after getting it jacked up, it looks like it just rusted/sheared out the bottom connecting plate to whatever that crossbar is (new to car stuff, be gentle). 2 questions. Is this repairable without welding and just buying/bolting new parts in, or is it a shop job? (or a 3rd question, is it even worth bothering with?) It is meant to be a parts truck for my 88 but I wouldn't mind getting it driving until I'm ready to pull the engine as a secondary work truck.
