Anyone running 17inch wheels on an early 80's Dodge 8 lug 4x4? Happy with your setup? Thanks

 

For my purposes, Im not seeing any advantage over 16's unless you've got some large aftermarket brakes.

17's look ok to me, i really don't see any reason to be unhappy with them. they are just rims and at only 0.5-1" taller than stock rims i really don't see them effecting anythings. the tires you put on the rims will more likely effect how happy you are with the ride.
