Default 4x4 Indicator Light Meltdown -help!

Well, almost - I have had my 4x4 indicator light unplugged for months, replaced lights (little bayonet style, twist and turn) with LEDs both on dash, no problems and on 4x4 indicator switch as well but center bulb on the back side solder side heats up insanely hot in seconds. Any idea what is causing this? Faulty led bulb, grounding issue? The harness for this indicator light is complete. The radio was a bit hacked but I reinstalled new unit and all is well. Thanks, do not want to melt this indicator light/housing -help!

If you remove the bulb does it stop? What year truck and what led bulbs?
