Where is the fuel filter located, please? This is my first post. I need to replace my fuel filter to solve my choking engine problem. No check engine lights. I bought the filter but O'Reily's couldn't tell me where it is located. Thank you for your time.

 

The fuel filter should be located beside the gas tank at the rear of the truck.

It will be located on the frame rail, closer to the center of the box, about 1 1/2ft forward of the rear axle.

 

Thank you Blue Rebel. When you say "closer to the center box" you are referring to the truck bed?

I've been looking infront of the gas tank on the driver's side. I will look "1 1/2ft forward of the rear axel." Thanks again.
