Default Frame Swapping - 1989 W350 frame on 1991 Ram 350

Hi,
I'm new to the forum & helping out a friend by posting:
He would like to take the frame and axles from a 1989 W350 VIN 1B6MM3657KS160561 (131" wheel base dual rear wheel) which is in excellent condition

and use it for a 1991 Ram 350 VIN 1B7KM36C0MS320025 (131" wheel base single rear wheel) which has a good body but a rotting frame. We will be using the 1991 Cummins motor and 5 speed manual trans.

He is wondering if the bolt pattern for the frames are the same and if putting the 91 body on the 89 frame is a task that can be done without becoming a nightmare by having to do an excessive amount of redrilling and customizing.

We would appreciate any guidance or experience you may have with task.
Thanks

If the cabs are the same (Regular or extended) and they have the same drive (2 or 4wd) they should fit just fine.
