Im trying to get my speedometer fixed on my 1993 dodge 250 2wd 5 speed, I believe it's the getrag 360 transmission. I think I found the issue I just don't know where to get the parts to fix it. I went to look at the vss but the L shaped adapter was so loose on the transmission that I unscrewed it by hand and found the male square drive that goes into the transmission to be completely rounded. Does anyone know if there are rebuild kits available for these? I'll include some pictures incase I'm not calling it the right name.

 

have you tried hooking the sensor straight to the transmission and see how accurate it is?

 

I have not tried that, I can't drive the truck at this time otherwise I would give that a shot out of curiosity.
