Default 318 with 360 4 barrel intake swap and edelbrock carbeurator 1406

I have a 1984 dodge w250 and I swapped a 360 4 barrel intake on to it I have already replaced the carbeurator with a 1406 edelbrock with the adapter plate spread bore to square and I was told I needed to purchase this to work but can't find anything on how to install this specific bracket or anything similar for that matter. I have been pieceing this together and don't have anyone around me that has much knowledge on these vehicles any input and knowledge would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advanced!!!

You need to get an adapter that goes on the carb linkage, Not sure how that bracket you have is supposed to work. I found a pic of it installed but not a lot of details. (Looks like you need different cables) I believe this is what you need, You need to use the throttle stud off the old carb.

Ohh ok ok thank you for responding!! Do you happen to have a picture of what the adapter for the carb linkage looks like?
The shop I bought the carb from helped me get the adapter plate for spread bore to square bore and most of the adaptations I would need to make the 360 intake swap work on the 318. Any links or resources to find the final pieces I need to make this work would be my saving grace right now!!!
Thank you!!

you should just be able to make the factory linkage work. it is not perfect but cheaper than installing new aftermarket cable kits.
