Default Dual exhaust.

Hey guys i have a 1993 W150 4x4 with a 318 Magnum i want a set of dual but i am going to use a very quiet Turbo Mufflers.
have any of you done this and i know its tight under the truck with eth Transfer case and so on..

what are you trying to gain by doing dual exhaust?. i don't know about the trucks but my 93 had a pretty good factory exhaust. it was 3" from the y-pipe to after the cat where it dropped down to 2.5" for the rest. if you want looks you can get a muffler with 2 outlets. dual exhaust are not always as practical.

Some guys use the basic jobber 3" diesel exhaust on the gas trucks. Don't use the downpipe of course.

Are you going to use headers or stock manifolds and cat? You can get a duel in and duel out cat then run two exhaust pipes back from there.

Be careful how you route the exhaust. The guy that built my 79 put the drivers side exhaust to cross over to the passenger side crossing under the tail stock of the transmission and welded everything together. Can’t get the transmission out without removing the exhaust!!
