1993 Dodge W150 w/360 Magnum

Hey y'all,
I'm just going to get straight into the issues I'm having. My truck will attempt to start, making a "rughnn rughnn rugghn click" noise. I've replaced the alternator, starter, and battery but the system persists. Any ideas on what else it could be? I'm at a loss and don't know if I should look for an ignition issue, alternator wiring, or something else entirely.

 

You are saying it cranks over and makes a clicking noise? Any codes? When did this issue start? You might want to post a video of what it is doing. Post it on youtube and link it here.

First of all, I am sorry for the slow reply to you. Work's been hectic for the last while and I've hardly had time to sleep. I ended up using an ohm meter and testing wires connected to the terminals after I cleaned them and the problem continued. It turned out to be a ground wire from the battery to the body that was overly-resistant. Replaced it, and the truck appears to no longer be having the issue. Just to be safe I took the steering column apart, checked wires and nothing seemed damaged there. Time will tell if this was the actual problem, or if there's more.
