I feel like such a doofus guys lol so yesterday I got my transmission in and I was in a rush because I had to go to school. For some reason it slipped my mind that I didn't put oil in the getrag I didn't drive the truck because it isn't ready yet. I started it up for about 15-20 seconds because it hasn't gotten to run in a month or so then I realized I hadn't put oil in it. Should be okay though right? it was in neutral of course I put 5 w 30 full synthetic as the fsm recommends I'm gonna drain it tomorrow and check to see how everything looks and take the pto cover off as well.

 

What do you have? Model year motor?

 

Getrag G360 is the 5 speed used in a 89-93 cummins trucks.
