Hi All, I currently have a 1975 Dodge w100 shortbed with a 360ci, auto trans and a NP203 t-case. I plan to install a 360 FI crate motor with a Tremec TR4050 (NV4500 replacement) trans and a rebuilt Np205 T-case. I measured all the components and it appears the cross member will need to be relocated back by approximately 2.5". Can anyone shed some light on this swap? It would be greatly appreciated. Cam

 

I ended up drilling new holes in the frame 1-2" rearward to get the crossmember right on my 84 2wd ramcharger with a 5 speed swap.

On the 4x4's somehow they put the crossmember in the same place whether its a 78 np435/203, 89 np435/241, 90 a518/241, or 93 g360/205.

I think you're really at the mercy of where that specific trans wants the crossmember.
