Hey,
My 88 D100 5.2L will only start if I use starter fluid. Once started runs fine. So I don’t think it’s the fuel pump. Replaced choke pull off on carburetor same issue, still won’t start unless I use starter fluid.
any help will be appreciated.

Is the accelerator pump working?

 

That should be fuel injected, are you referring to the IAC on the back of the throttle body?
