Default Anyone ever bought from Discount A/C Parts

I'm working on my 89 and it's looking like the a/c system has a leak on the compressor shaft and I'm looking for parts.

Thanks.

I think I've gotten parts from them over the years through Ebay. The parts went right in and the system worked after I was done. Since you're looking at replacing the compressor, I'd go ahead and flush the system of mineral oil. I'd also replace ALL the O rings as mineral and PAG oil do different things to seals. The last I looked, a flush kit will run around $50-75. Maybe replace the receiver dryer while you're at it as they can be touchy when you open the system. One thing to remember is the R-134 molecule is smaller than the R-12. As such, hoses that are good for R-12 will seep the smaller R-134 though pores in the hose.

If it were me, the condenser and expansion coils are probably good but I'd replace the rest with new stuff so I'd have cold A/C.

Thanks, the kit I'm looking at comes with a new compressor/clutch, dryer and expansion valve. The truck was converted to 134a many years before I bought it. When I charged it, I added leak detection dye, just need to pick up a UV light.
